ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee closed weaker at 297.80/298.50 to the US dollar on Monday from 296.00/30 the previous week, dealers said.
Bond yields were considerably down, dealers said.
A bond maturing on 15.12.2026 closed down at 10.95/11.05 percent from 11.15/20 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.09.2027 closed down at 11.40/55 percent from 11.55/65 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.03.2028 closed down at 11.60/70 percent from 11.90/12.00 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 closed at 11.80/12.10 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.05.2030 closed at 12.25/40 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.03.2031 closed at 12.30/55 percent.
